Creative Sewing Club

X Blocks  July 22  1-4
This is the perfect way to make a complicated looking block to impress your friends, even if they are quilters. The neat thing is that it isn’t complicated at all! See how easy it is sew strips and than cut them into blocks. By using the X Block tool you’ll end up with a wonderful block that can be used to create any size quilt in no time at all. If you want to try the tool in class, cut a 3 ¾” strip by the width of three different contrasting fabrics. Before you come to class sew them together and press the seam allowances all one direction. Bring your favorite rotary cutter and you will go home with four squares to sew into a block when you get home.
