Class Policies

Payment must be made when registering for a class to hold your spot.

Supplies for class must be purchased at the Quilted Basket.

If you cancel seven days prior to class, a store credit will be given. Less than seven days notice, you will forfiet fee.

We ask that no children be brought to class. They often can be distracting to others and it poses a liability issue.
-
Cell phones need to be put on silent and/or vibrate, and you must leave the classroom to have the conversation.
STITCHER'S GARDEN APPLIQUE QUILT
4th Thursday of the Month March - August
6-8 PM

The picture does not do this class justice. Stop in and see the sample. This applique quilt will get you to think outside the box of your normal machine applique. It's designed for any make and model of machine. You can have great results even if your machine has a more basic stitch selection. Each block will teach you a new technique with decorative stitches for the applique. If you have a variety of feet for your machine and you're not sure how to use them, this class is perfect for you. A different decorative foot or technique will also be introduced each month. Background and fabric kit purchase required.

LEARN TO QUILT
January 18, 25th and February 13, 15th

This four session class takes the beginner to the next level. Learn more piecing techniques including triangles, log cabin, flying geese and more. You will also learn more finishing techniques. This is also a great refresher course for those who have not pieced in awhile. Book and fabric purchase required.

Many of us have lots of quilts to get done. This series of classes is designed to help you do just that. Each class will teach you a quick technique that you can use to complete a quilt top in record time. Most of the patterns will be fat quarter and “bakery” friendly. Get those old T-shirts from school, concerts, sports, etc out of the attic and turn them into a cherished possesion by making them into a quilt. This class will have TWO sessions in which you will learn how to stabilize and cut your t-shirts, design your own layout and calculate fabric needs for your sashing, borders, back and binding. This is a GREAT graduation gift!
