A Tisket, A Tasket The Quilted Basket is pleased to offer A Tisket, A Tasket, designed by Ann Wanke, the owner of the Quilted Basket. This twelve month program is designed featuring Windham Fabrics Floursack 6 line of fabric. Each pattern reminiscent of the 1930’s has easy to follow, well illustrated instructions for completing this queen size quilt (96” x 96”). This program will start in August 2011, however you may join at anytime, as long as kits are available. Civil War Chronicles Block of the Month Starts January 2011 Limited Number of Kits - Sign up today! Honor the upcoming 150 year anniversary of the Civil War. Create a reproduction quilt that recalls the events of the Civil War. Fabrics for the quilt are designed by Judie Rothermel, which are historically accurate. This BOM program includes 12 months of kits. Many of the completed blocks are hanging in the classroom. Sign up today!! Starts in January of 2011.
Patriots and Petticoats This block of the month is a 12 month program honoring the women who played a role in the American Revolution. This quilt uses the Hanna Wallis collection of fabric by Windham Fabrics, in association with the Daughters of the American Revolution. It will begin in January 2011.
American Beauty This “American Beauty” quilt project is the newest cooperative effort between Marti Michell and Maywood Studio. Two quilts that appear to be in two different colors, but all the blocks are exactly the same, using the same fabrics. Only the borders and setting triangles change, offering you both a striking black quilt or a soft romantic white quilt.
