The Quilted Basket Inc. is located in the Historic Village Centre of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The shop opened in January of 2000 to fill the need for a quilt shop in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee. The shop started in a small house which we outgrew within months. In October of 2001 we moved to our current location. In August of 2003, we took over the third part of our building. This added 1200 square feet to the shop. The new space was opened up to create two new large wonderful classrooms.
My commitment to my customers includes my passion for education. There are always a full range of classes on our schedule. The shop also hosts as many as ten clubs per month. Several times a year I bring in national quilt instructors.
The shop offers an extensive selection (over 6,000) of bolts of beautiful quilting fabric along with hand dyed wools, wool felts, and chenille. In stock are over 400 book and pattern titles. Check out our garment sewing fabric
With much urging from our customers, in January of 2004 we became an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer. The Quilted Basket hosts a great embroidery club. All brand machine owners are welcome.
